Left-hander Jaime Garcia would be the ideal option, but he is rehabbing a sore shoulder. Another internal option, left-hander Marco Gonzales, is dealing with a sore pectoral muscle, and he isn't considered as consistent as Wainwright or Garcia. The Cardinals will likely test out a slew of pitchers and maybe look to trade for a one later this season.
